Along the Rhine river in Western Germany there’s a lot of scenic places to go. The more south you go along the Rhine, the nicer it gets.
Ssamziegil in Insadong
In Korean, it’s 쌈지길 인사동.
Although I have been here several times before and on every visit to Seoul, its a good place to always have a look at contemporary art items, accessories and decoration you can buy and take home.

Budapest
November 1st (Allerheiligen)is a public holiday in some states in Germany. Due to a special weekend promotion by Lufthansa Travel, we used the time to visit Budapest over the weekend.
Divided by the Danube river, the Hungarian capital consists of the Buda (left of the Danube) and Pest (right) area.
In this picture, we are looking towards the Pest side.

Nanta
[
]
Have you been to the Nanta? If not, you can go easily to this theater play in Myeongdong. The story is about four chefs who are under time pressure to prepare a wedding meal. It’s not a play with a lot of words rather than action. The audience is often also embedded in this play to do some tricks on stage with them. Full of rhythm, dance and fun, it’s a recommended play to see while in Seoul. Because it’s also without words, you get the meaning easily. For more info, just visit http://www.nanta.co.kr
Chongqing
Chongqing (or Chunking, 重庆, “double celebration”) is one of the biggest cities in China, also directly administrated by the Chinese government (“direct municaplity”)). Actually because of the urban population it is supposed to be that with about 28mio inhabitants. Quite hilly, hot and dry weather which opposes the east coastal regions with moisty, sticky air in summer.
Moved my sites
So I just finished moving my blog to my new server. A bunch of works is still ahead of me, but the main part is already done.
Some image links still do not work, this is also a good opportunity to fix my overhead of images I uploaded and just waste disk space.
The main reason I did this was to clear my old domain and the possibility to play more around with a dedicated server where Ihave more control on.
As far as I have expected, the new server has a lot of more ressources for displaying my websites so that’s a plus in loading, too.
I also have to catch up with my last travel report and of course, a lot has changed in my life recently, so maybe there will be news next time.
Pudong and the Bund
(in chinese: 浦东和外滩)
The Bund is a famous boulevard within the city. It accompanies the Huangpu river and it is a major street such as Champs d’Elysées or 5th Avenue.
You can walk here at every day time and it will be full of people. The strip is about 1-2km long and you can see over to the Pudong are from here. Nanjing road is also just in reach. A good start to explore Shanghai.
